Personal Puja
Clearing Karma Each of us deals with our karma every moment, and depending on how firm our intentions are, how much energy we have, and what blessings we have in store - we can transform negativity, celebrate positivity, and grow in Divine Vision. Ritual Power - Puja Puja is a type of ancient Vedic ritual which "charges our batteries" with spiritual energy through the power of mantra, yantra, and sacred offerings. Spiritual Transformation with Kailas Kailas has 27 years of experience with Vedic wisdom. Today he artfully expresses the spiritual paths of Ayurveda, Puja, Yoga, Sanskrit Chanting, and Jyotish to assist in personal spiritual transformation.
a) The Jyotish (Vedic Astrology) chart which can give a clear direction about the relationship between a person's karma, their health and their spiritual destiny. b) The Ayurvedic Consultation, in which the need for a specific puja and its benefits can be determined according to the health issues a person has, including both their physical symptoms and emotional challenges. c) A special intention such clearing obstacles, blessing a new home or business, marriage and life-changes, childbirth, opening to intuition and aligning various cosmic energies; or a preference for a specific deity with whom they wish to commune with to receive divine grace. Lighting the Sacred Fire Puja begins with invoking the ancient Sacred Fire, called Agni in Sanskrit. The Divine Flame embodies the transformational power of the Formless Brahman (Primal, Pure Spirit) in the heart of every atom. Compared to this Eternal Flame, the light of all the stars is but a mere reflection. In fact, Agni represents not only Brahman and the Stars, but as well our own Sun, and the Light of our Minds. In our lives, this Light is reflected into the light of the cook fire and the fire of digestion, the root of all health. It is further reflected into the electric fire, the root of our productivity. It is the fire of transformation and vibration that we invoke and honor during Puja - and set free. Establishing Intentions Into this Fire are cast our intentions, so that they may take shape and work in all dimensions. To do this we chant sacred mantras in Sanskrit and state our intentions and goals in English, while making sacred offerings, meditating on Divine Energy, and sharing blessings with not only our ancestors, but with our communty and with all peoples. Honoring Nature Through puja we generate good karma and ultimately heal the Earth. Every aspect of Puja makes use of natural elements: fire, water, ash/earth, air/space, flowers, food, sound, awareness, and love. Each deity or Divine Form in Vedic spirituality represents Nature on different levels. For example, Shiva represents the Element of Akasha (Space), which is co-instantiated in the human body in the Vishuddhi Chakra (Throat Chakra). Space is the pure domain from which all other Elements flow - such as Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. Therefore we worship Akasha with flowers, which are the symbolic and tangible access to the flowering of consiousness and therefore life itself. Through the portal of Ritual Space, the energy of consicousness is transformed on all dimensions simultaneously. This is Shiva Puja. Similarly, the deity Hanuman, is said to be the Son of the Wind, Vayu. Therefore Hanuman Puja creates new life through inspiring the Breath of Life. The Element of Wind is accessed within the human body at the Anahata Chakra (Heart Chakra) Fire is condensed Light, and Light / Fire is represented by Lakshmi, the Goddess of Fortune and Wealth. Her light is golden, and She is invoked to bring gold and the blessings of a happy and full life, rich with beauty, harmony, and sweetness. The Element of Fire resides in the belly, in the Manipura Chakra (just above the navel). The Divine Form of Saraswati, the Goddess of the Arts and Speech represents the Element of Water, which is said to flow from the heavens, the sacred waters that descend as rain, and as the holy rivers from whose banks civilization grew. It is the Element of Water that resides in the body as Swadhisthan Chakra (just below the navel). Earth takes the form of Ganesha, who rules the Muladhara Chakra (Root Chakra), and protects the Spirit which is entangled in the appearance of matter. In addition to deities of consciousness and the Elements, Naga Puja and Nine Planets Puja among others, directly access the forces of our physical and energetic body, the Wisdom Spirits of Nature and the Spirits of the Planets.
Combined together with the Intention to heal and transform karma, Puja becomes a sacred art which unites one's own individual nature with the natural forces of the cosmos. In fact, Puja transforms our view of Nature. It expands and energizes our awareness, giving us the power to break down the barriers to healing our body and mind. The spiritual light of Puja grants us a new map of reality, a divine lens and a divine light with which to see the universe, our karma, and our Dharma. So it is, in this Ritual Space the forces of Nature, conveyed by deity and embodied completely within us are set free! Why I Offer Puja For 27 years I have been fascinated with the ancient wisdom of Puja and Sanskrit mantras, rituals to cosmic deities, and the Universal Energy within our minds and bodies. During my 20's I spent 5 years living in ashrams across the US, and walked across America for one year, studying with teachers from all different religions and spiritual paths. It was my great fortune to meet my Gurus and guides since then, who have personally guided my life. Out of discovering this beauty and its effectiveness in transforming and healing myself, I offer my services as a Pujari. Schedule a Personal Puja with Kailas
