Cayenne Pepper, Red Chilli


Sanskrit Name: Raktamaricha • English Name: Cayenne Pepper, Red Chilli • Latin Name: Capsicum annum


Cayenne is used in Ayurveda for it's stimulating and Vata pacifying qualities.

The Kailas Perspective:   One of the main spices I use for weight loss, appetite suppression, and as a digestive system stimulant and detoxifier.

Ayurvedic Perspective:   Circulatory / Cardiac stimulant used to revive debilitated patients
Nourishes:   Increases Absorbtion of Nutrients, Increases Circulation
